About the Author

Bradley Thompson, Creator of the Cycling Alphabet Book

Bradley Thompson is a Digital Marketer, College Professor, Content Creator and Elite Canadian Duathlete based in Calgary, Alberta. When Brad is not busy at work, he is usually spending all of his free time running and biking as an Elite Duathlete part of Team Canada. Cycling has been a big part of Brad’s life ever since he was a child watching his dad race (Former Team Trinidad Track Cyclist) at local cycling criteriums and watching the Tour de France on the family Television.

As an avid reader of endurance sports books, Brad has always been frustrated with the lack of literature in the subject area of cycling and endurance sports. But what really pushed him to create this book was a need for it!  Bradley had his first child this summer and after trying to find books he can purchase about cycling to read with him, he found there are little to no options in this space! Thus, Bradley took it upon myself to create the perfect cycling book for his child, one that he can read with him as they watch the Tour de France on TV together or prepare for his next big international Duathlon race!

Additionally, given Brad’s extensive experience of racing for Team Canada’s Duathlon team, racing bikes in and out of the velodrome and growing up in a cycling family, he was able to create the perfect book that includes the nuances of what cycling words actually matter for children (and future cycling stars)!
